How does your current billing provider measure up?
Not all billing providers are created equal. Here are a few signs and symptoms to be aware of:
- The average time it takes to collect on your accounts is over 60 days.
- Your AR is going up even though you’re not seeing more patients or performing more procedures.
- A declining percentage of your AR is new (i.e., 0 – 30 days old).
- A significant portion of your AR is over 90 days old.
Any one of the above may indicate the need for an immediate assessment. You should expect more from your billing provider than just reports. Your provider should be proactively advising you on how to improve your current standing. Contact CABS to see if we can help.
